Successful Meetings
By: Doug Brimmer
Posted: Friday, September 26, 2008 Over the years I have attended hundreds and
hundreds of meetings and less than half the time I walked away and said
"that was a good meeting". There are a myriad of reasons why the
meetings were not effective, however, the less than stellar meetings were
often unstructured and lacked a clear explanation of the meeting goals.
Recently I was in a meeting room and posted on the wall was a list titled "10 Keys to a
Successful Meeting". The items in the list seemed obvious, but are
items that are often overlooked by meeting leaders. Listed below are
the "10 Keys to a Successful Meeting". I believe that anyone who leads
a meeting can benefit greatly by adopting these items.
We are always excited to receive your feedback. Please let us know
your thoughts about this list or your tips to leading a successful meeting.
